We lost a country western great, Thomas Hoyt "Slim" Bryant died last month at the age of 101. Bryant was a guitarist/singer/songwriter/radio personality who for 18 years played with Clayton McMichen as part of his band the Georgia Wildcats. Bryant was the last surviving musician to record with Jimmie Rodgers.
Here's a nice article at John Trouts Bluegrass world blog in memory of Bryant.

This is a nifty little surprise. Thank you! Some great musicianship there!
What do the letters following the song titles signify? I'm guessing "(SB)" might be Slim Bryant, but I have no clue about what "cr" might mean -- don't think there was any crying going on.

Whoops. The "cr" indicates a declicking program used to remove such clicks from the original recordings. df

Thanks for bringing back a lot of good memories
