The MP3s available for download on this blog are from collections of western swing 78s and Radio Transcriptions donated by a small group of devoted collectors. Our main purpose is to share and introduce to others this great and mostly unknown music. Here at WS on 78 we try not to post music that's available for purchase. So please don't request any CDs. And please support the Western Swing music labels by purchasing their CDs.
All downloads are free and compiled as ZIP or RAR files and need to extracted with Winzip, Winrar or any similar software.

LP Posts Removed

Hello all, I got a warning from Blogger about copy right infringement for one of the out of print LPs I was sharing. Someone complained so I removed all LPs posts just to be safe. I sorry if the post in question upset the original source of the LP. I'll be happy to remove any questionable posts. Just email me and they are gone with my apologies. That goes for the 78s I post as well, I don't want to post 78s that are available on CD. If necessary I would be willing to close the blog. I want to promote western swing CD production not hurt it.
